Michel teló, who uses thesame nameas his artistic name, was born on January 21, 1981, is a Brazilian sertanejo artist born in Medianeira, Paraná, Brazil. He reached global fame after the release of the single "Ai Se Eu Te Pego", which was a major hit for a long time. His passion for music started in his childhood, he played the accordion and harmonica, he also joined a band at 12 years old. But his career started at the age of 12 when he became the vocalist of the group "Grupo Tradição" and showed his talent for music andinstruments.
Michel embarked on a solocareer in 2008 and in 2009 his solo album "balada Sertaneja" featured a single called "Ei, Psiu, Beijo, Me liga" which was very important for his career. In 2011 his album "Na Balada" gave his career the boost it needed and the music "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" became a internacional sensation, being present in more than 20 different countries .
Beside the sudden internacional fame, Michel also solidified his place as one of the bests in his field by launching albums and singles like "Fugidinha", "Humilde Residência" and "Notificação Preferida". Another thing he did was to found the project "Bem Sertanejo", where he would dig the history of brazilian sertanejo, the project was displayed in the TV program "Fantástico" and later on became an album.
Michel also has story beside music, he participates in the TV show "The Voice Brasil" as a coach. He is also married with Thaís Fersoza with whom he had two children. With awards like two Latin Grammys, Michel is one more example of dedication and determination in brazilian music.

Michel Teló was born on January 21, 1981, in Medianeira, Paraná, Brazil, but lived most part of his childhood in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. It was also in his childhood that he revelead to have a gift for musicfor example, at the age of 6 he made his first solo perfomance in the school choir and when he was ten his father intensified his music involvement by giving him a accordion. At around 12 years old his hole neighborhood, including his family, encouraged him to form a band. With time he learned instruments like the piano, harmonica, and guitar.
In 1997, the famous group "Tradição" was formed with Michel Teló as vocalist and instrumentalist and there he remained untill 2008. During this time he and the rest of the band released several albums and performances, but in 2008 he decided to leave the band to try his solo career, handing his spot to another singer.
In 2009, Michel released his first famous album called "Balada Sertaneja" This came with musics like "Ei, Psiu, Beijo, Me Liga" and "Amanhâ Sei Lá". In the following year he released more albums with songs like "Fugidinha", which reached top 100 most listened musics in Brazil. In that same year he performed 240 shows, which increased in millions his audience.
The year 2011 marked Michel Teló's career because with the release of the music "Aí Se Eu Te Pego" it quickly became an international viral hit going to number 1 brazilian hits and making him internationally know, the youtube video got millions of view and he used this audience to create the album/DVD "Michel Na Balada" and solidify his fame and expand his internacional visibility.
Keeping the breakout, Michel continued releasing albums and singles as "Sunset" and "Amiga da Minha Irmã). He also created the project "Bem Sertanejo" and over the years he made collaborations with other artists, for example, a portuguese version of Prince Royce's "Darte um Beso" he was also coach in "The Voice Kids Brasil" and won many awards, such as two Latin grammys and Billboard Latin Music award. Today he is still a prominent figure in international music and principally in brazilian sertanejo music, carring with him a whole legacy.
