About MC Kevinho
MC Kevinho, who's real name is Kevin Kawan de Azevedo, was born in September the 15, 1998 is a very know singer and songwriter. He sings mainly about funk ostentação and funk pop, having writen many catchy hits of the genre. He started his career by uploading his musics online and got a contract with Kondzilla Records in 2016 which catapulted him to national and international fame, after that, he was nicknamed "O Mlk dos Hits" ("The Kid of Hts").
Kevinho's fame came after releasing "Olha a Explosão" in 2016, it it was so successful that reached countries that didn't even speak portuguese, such as United States and Venezuela. He also made songs like "Tumbalatum" and "O Grave Bater" which also went viral and gave him international audience and placed him as one of the top funk artists.
Despite Kevinho's success, he went trough some hard times that made him take a break from the stages. In 2024 he revealed that he had to make a 2 years break after his mother discovered a cancer and during the treatment he faced a depression that made him gain weight. howadays he is recovering and is open about his mental health.
Even though he is almost 100% today, he is not rushing to go back to the spotlight, Kevinho is gradually going back to his normal life and the fact that he is being able to share all his personal struggles, combining with the choices he made, putting his family in front of his career made him be a symbol of strengh to many young people.

Kevin Kawan de Azevedo was born on September 16, 1998, in Campinas, São Paulo. He grew up in a regular environment, where funk became very interesting for him. Reports says he felt atracted for the rythms, in the other hand his school and home life are not documented.
At the age of 13 years old Kevinho started to upload songs on internet. He joined KL Produtora and participated in other artist's songs that signed with the same producer. In 2015 he released his first own album.
In 2016 Kevinho made it to sign with Kondzilla Records after releasing one of his most famous musics, "Olha a Explosão". With Kondzilla he released hits like "Elas gostam", "Tumbalatum". In 2017 he continued his career releasing songs like "Rabiola" and "Let it Kiss" together with many others.
Starting in 2018 Kevinho expanded his musical area. He signed with Warner Music Records and with it released international collaborations. He made songs like "Agora é tudo meu" and "Salvou Meu Dia". He gained a lot of visibility in social medias and streaming platforms.
Howadays Kevinho is still an active and influential figure in Brazil. He still releases singles that can have national and international collabs. He also continues with the shows, "olha a Explosão" is one of the songs that he often sings because people still likes it.
